Problems Dentists Should See With Snoring

Hello, I’m Richard Goodfellow.

I’m a general dentist in Toronto with a practice limited to TMJ and sleep disordered breathing.

Dentists are the #1 health professional who can recognize problems in children and adults who have headaches, migraines, and sleep breathing problems.

For instance, children should not snore at all. If you have a child, know a child, or see a child who snores, that has to be investigated because according to the American Pediatric Society, that is a problem.

Adults should not snore. If you see a patient with a scalloped tongue or large tonsils that should be investigated for sleep breathing problems.

If patients wake up with headaches, that’s worth investigating.

I’m happy to help.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
